Ed002.Tsimikas may not be home grown but Norwich didn't budge from their valuation and since you've said time and time again that Liverpool don't have the cash like City, United, Chelsea and it appears most other Premiership sides, then buy Tsimikas at £12 million represents good business. I watched him playing v Wolves and the Italian commentator was full of praise for Tsimikas. Not being disrespectful Ed002 but that's my opinion anyway.

{Ed002's Note - So as I said, Liverpool have not got their first choice and another non Home Grown place has gone.}

Fair enough but could it be LFC are saving funds for Ben White who would definitely be home grown? It appears buying home grown players is at a premium inspite of C.V. financial effects.

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool has had a sustained interest in Ben White and he is seen as the pick of the younger HG CBs, but they have not made an approach as of this time. Leeds are keen to take him, Brighton don't want to sell, certainly not on the cheap, but a decent offer would tempt them. Liverpool do not seem to trust Phillips who would make a good option that would also save money. The youngsters are perhaps a little away from the first team squad so he would be a good option. And unlike Mandi, not off to the AFCON.

Oh Ed002 can't you see the Tsimikas signing announcement is just a "smokescreen" so Norwich will feel a bit of pressure to negotiate, it'll be an Edwards masterclass. duh 😉😅.
