this is not liverpool related. but i was watching the trophy presentation of the FA cup final. surely it can be done with a bit more dignity than just to have the players collect the medals from a tray on their own and then the captain being ushered to just collect the trophy like he just purchased a sac.

{Ed047's Note - it was pretty poor mate, you guys at least had King Kenny giving you the trophy

It was very confusing. didn't seem real fairplay to Arsenal though they own that competition.

i wanted Arsenal to win but the decisions were embarassing. Aubamyang was fouled outside the area and then throws himself in front of Azp and to the ground miles away from the ball.

That's called cheating and if VAR can't even see it we are screwed. Their 2nd goal Bellerin throws himself into the tackle when he loses the ball before it gets to Auba fouling and hurting the Chelsea player. Xhaka should have been booked / not Kovacic as he went over the top not Kovacic but the ref fell for Xhaka's play acting also known as cheating and sends the Chelsea player off.

Shocking refereeing - he should not referee anoter high profile game again - ruined the game. And i was biased towards Arsenal! Even my 11 year old could see the decisions wee wrong!

I feel sorry for the ref with the red card, he has been conned by Xhaka and until it starts getting called out by pundits and commentators it will continue to litter the game.

It isn't just xhaka, there are plenty of culprits we have had our fair share too.

WY red I couldn't agree more with you mate, players need to stop cheating we can't keep blaming the refs.

OP, that trophy presentation or whatever it was, was a shambles and the way they set it up, it was a disgrace to whoever won the trophy.

As for Xhaka, he played the ref on that one and he is known for doing that and the ref on the whole had a complete schtick show, VAR included. There is a reason why English refs don't even small the list of FIFA refs to go to the WC.

the refereeing was no doubt shocking (as was VAR though it was in no position to influence in the red card as it wasn't straight red), but the trophy presentation was even more shocking!

I'm not in the know, but was there no VIP for the game? no one at least of importance from the FA to have been present to witness the match and be there at least to give a head nod and hand the medals and trophy to the winners? you can have mask, gloves, whatever on, but at least give the winners the respect they deserved!

Are you seriously blaming pundits and commentators for players diving? Incredible, it’s the players and referees responsibility, stop making excuses for them.
