Not sure if this has been answered, so apologises if it has.
Given what we know about finances and that a cover left back is probably a priority. , who would you sign and why.

I feel that the youth we have coming through is enough to cover a majority of the positions we have, but I feel that left back is a concern. Its also harder to sign some one that is good enough to cover Robinson, but also sit on the bench whilst suiting our style.

I think Neco will get a chance to cover the full-back positions next season.

Milner, Gomez, even Trent at a push, could all cover LB.
I don’t see a new LB as a priority. A luxury maybe, given the finances at present.
But Liverpool have always slotted players in when short - Emlyn Hughes, Tommy Smith, Phil Neal, Stevie Nicol, Mark Lawrenson have all played the LB position.
If you’re thinking of getting a like-for-like cover for Robertson, forget it I’m afraid.
I’m absolutely alright with what we have if needs be.
