How's everyone's opinion of hendo surely the haters have to give in a bit he has captained our club to a champions league, club world Cup and now the Premier league. curious how he is now viewed in comparison to "world class" players surely his stock must be rising or is he still under rated?

He is rated very high at LFC. So certainly not underrated. Not sure about world class and for that you need to tell us what his actual position is? DM? CM? RCM? LCM? Like what? Only then you could include him in a list or compare him with others.
Nevertheless his attitude is world class! No doubt about it.

I think outside of the club he will always be seen as someone who can be upgraded but he is our leader. And he has been for a long time, him missing in 2014 was huge and if he is missing a game you can tell the performance drops.

People said it was hard filling gerrards boots, I think itll be harder to fill hendersons!

I don't think it matters much what position he plays, actually the fact he can play right across the midfield to such a top level shows what a great midfielder he is. He works in our system, that's all that matters and the medals and success will all be that matters to him.

I've read some articles and supposed 'polls' where LFC have been asked the question as to who was the better Captain; Gerrard or Henderson. I was surprised to read that Gerrard is overwhelmingly chosen as the better one by far.

I think people confuse the "better captaincy" with "better player". For me Henderson is the better captain while Gerrard was the better player. You can see Henderson is an extension of Klopp on the pitch. The team's philosophy, tactics and drive. Gerrard always struck me as just a brilliant, talented player. He pulled the team forward of course with his play, but how much of an effect did he have on team mates' play?

C'mon lads. really? I love Hendo, great player and an even better man but there's no point making such statements. its simply not true. All for giving our players respect but can never understand why one of our best ever doesn't seem to get his.

Hendo has always been a personal fav. What a player he is. He is only under rated by those that don't know football. You don't have to be technically the best to be in the best team. To make the machine work, every cog has to do their job.

Hendo does his job to perfection. He drives the team without having to be the superstar. Don't get me wrong, I love Gerrard, he carried the team through many successes and one of my fav players. The difference between hendo and Gerrard though is Henderson is happy to do it without having the fanfare.

He doesn't need the praise, he does it for the team. Henderson will always be a legend in my eyes and one of our best midfielders of all time for gets he brings to the team.

I think he's one of the most stand out players in the premier league this year and is front runner for player of the year and he one of the main reasons we are where we are. His leadership is second to none, his awareness is top class and I don't need to speak about his motivational skills so yes in my book he's world class

Never understood why you have to kick someone to like someone 😅😅. Gerrard bought fans to this club coz he was the best player for nearly a decade! And I repeat the best player.
