I just saw this statistic and it is mind-blowing. Since the start of the 17/ 18 season under Klopp, LFC have lost only 7 games out of 107 games in the PL. SEVEN games!

In fact if you take it back to the start of the 16/ 17 season (Klopp's first full season), LFC have only lost 11 games (6 losses in that season) in the last 145 games in the PL. ELEVEN losses!

What Klopp, his staff and players have achieved over the past 2 years and more, is legendary. Plks, let us just appreciate greatness before our very eyes.

What I really appreciate is that all these accomplishments have been achieved with a minimum of attitude and posturing and maximum of humility. He arrived as the "normal one" and he still talks like one, to this day.

Red Meister, it will be interesting to compare his win/ loss record with Shankly and Paisley when he decides to leave. Curiosity.

Exactly, ArAy, and there is zero nastiness with either Klopp or the players. Can’t remember the last dangerous tackle our lads made, maybe Lovren in Europa League final. They go in hard and determined but fair. It’s especially great to win the big prizes without being a nasty side.

Pub quiz time . who did we lose to?

The one's that stick out are .

Man City 2-1 away
Man City 5-1 away (Mane sent off)
Spurs 4 -1 away
Watford 3 - 0 home
Crystal Palace 2-1 home

I seem to remember a 1-0 loss at Swansea but the rest escape me.

{Ed001's Note - wasn't it 3-2 defeat to Swans? I am sure they showed highlights at half-time as Jack Cork picked 3 games to remember from his career. He picked one from his time with Saints, one from Swans and one from Burnley and the Swans one was against us and was 3-2. Two from Firmino, two from Llorente and one from Sigurdsson.}

United away? When rashford hurt us during Trents early years and his wobble of confidence for a couple of weeks. And I remember Burnley doing us 2-0 second game of the season that started with us beating arsenal 4-3. I also remember Bournemouth getting a late winner after we crumbled in another 4-3 loss. I can't think of others off top of my head.

Ed01 I remember that 3-2 defeat against Swansea yes. I was in such a mood as I hate when we drop points at home. I remember Griezmann calling Firmino a 'top top player' after that game.

{Ed001's Note - the only thing I wasn't sure of is if it was under Klopp or just before he arrived? But I assumed it was Klopp as Rodgers never got Firmino playing at all, he didn't have a clue what to do with him.}

The Swansea result was 15 months after Klopp had arrived. We had made tremendous strides during that season but still had a very poor back 5 that meant we were vulnerable even against the worst teams in the league.

Thanks for the contributions, lads. I just felt I needed to post this stat cos it is just insane esp. judging by where Klopp found us when he came.

For full disclosure, you can see that I did not add the period of the 15/ 16 season cos to me, Klopp came in midseason, signed nobody (well, if you call Steven Caulker a signing then have at it) and used a squad that was not his own esp. since he was trying to find out who he would keep and let go for the following season. Cheers, guys!

Correct ed01 it was in Klopp's 2nd season (his first full one) . We lost 6 league games that season but none of those were to top6 sides. It was during a month or 2 month period where we only won 1 game. Despite that we still made top4 and Klopp's ability to get the team to bounce back from a rough patch was shown. Another thing Rodgers lacked.

{Ed001's Note - thanks mate, I thought it was but memory is not always reliable at my age!}

Steak, and BR is already getting found out now and mark my words since digging a team out of a negative spiral is NOT what BR does, don't be surprised if this is the beginning of the end for BR at LC.
