Naby Keita is a CM and not a LWB. He has excellent close control and relentless pace to charge forward, the last chance was all him picking the ball from the center mid and running at Everton.

To Mr Klopp and Top reds Fans on the site.
Sell him if you aren’t ever going to play him to his strength. Buy someone who is good at Baby sitting Robertson / Milner.

The simple fact is the form has picked up where it left off. Take in to account the long delay between games and the extra subs and water breaks if you want but before the enforced break we were lucky to beat West Ham in the leauge, got knocked out the FA cup deservedly by Chelsea, knocked out the CL by Athletico and comfortably beaten in the leauge by Watford. Play had become slow, predictable and easy to defend against. Just like it was today. We may have to wait longer than we wanted for the title as I see Man City beating Burnley tomorrow, we will scrape past Palace wednesday but need to play a lot better or risk loosing to City next week.

What are you two talking about? Who was playing LWB? You actually saw Keita play wingback? Keita plays on the left in a combined CM/ CAM role horizontally across from Henderson on the other side. And most of us already know Keita's strengths and abilities; thanks for the elucidation.

And I kinda like the idea of winning it at the Etihad tbh, we are more then capable of getting a result. Especially as they will attack.

Not too much can be taken from todays game imo as it was the first game after 100 days, we will see what wednesday holds.

Let me explain. He plays in a midfield three tasked to baby sit the full back on his side which was Milner 😂😂😂. The rare he popped into the midfield he was excellent.
When fit he is the best midfielder this club has today.

Now let me explain how he is different to others.
Keita excels in close control and in tight spaces. He is one rare piece who could dribble from his own half to the opponent. He has ridiculous acceleration on the ball and
He is magnificent in one two. Keita always shows himself to the ball as he always like to have the ball. He is easily the best carrier of football from the middle. (Now please have a good check of all the 35 games he played for RBL and how they used him)

Him or any guy with such attributes has no future in the team when asked to baby sit his full back.

Harry, what game were you watching or did you sleep thru it? Where on earth did you see Naby play LWB? Whetre did you see LFC play with a back 3 with WB's? Good grief!

I'm starting to wonder if you are just posting rubbish just to get people triggered or really here ready to debate issues on an honest level.

Yeah, I thought Keita found himself unlucky to be subbed. Firmino and Mane were far from great. Henderson done rightly and Allison was on the ball when needed.
All in all, a horrible game of football. Another game coming up quickly. Things can only get better.

Of course our lcm and rcm play behind the fbs a lot! We have the most adventurous fbs I mm world football. Its something we have been proud about for a couple of years now. Because we didn't win its suddenly a problem.

I really like keita and he has a natural skill our other cms don't have. That said, I wouldn't say he is our best cm. That accolade goes to Hendo surely.

It isn’t a problem Robbie. Read my post clearly. I have explained it why the lad wouldn’t ever fit in at LFC. or any of those who wants to play more centrally and want to carry the ball forward. It is also why Wijnaldum struggles at times and excels in a far more attacking role at Holland.

Keita is excellent and when fit he is the best CM we have. But it ends when you play him to baby sit your full back. People who are relying for creativity from midfield, goals from midfield, Auror from Lyon must understand how we play.

{Ed001's Note - Wijnaldum struggles at times? He has been probably our most consistent player. You just make up nonsense all the time to fit in with the rubbish you post. Keita's struggles have been down to himself and injuries, nothing else.}
