Hi eds1 and everyone else
What do you think about the news of adding crowd noise to the prem games?
Am really not sure until I watch a game.

{Ed001's Note - it could hardly make things worse, it is going to feel artificial anyway without fans there, so why not? It won't be as good as the real thing, but that's not possible right now so it is better than nothing.}

In the German games it’s been surprisingly acceptable for now and better than silence as sounds like a training match though Spanish one not so good.

This is comical and getting worse by the minute. First there's competitive sport happening but with no spectators whatsoever. Then we put in noise to make it sound like there are spectators there. Do we really seek appeasement with the smallest fake things?

I hope they give an option to watch the game with just the pitch side effect mics. I'd be interested in hearing the players and Klopp.

I think it's a red button option faith whether you want to add the crowd or not.

Watching it included in the Bundesliga coverage, and it makes a difference. They manage to change the sound for certain moments in the game incl. Contentious ref decisions. It's better then no noise imo.

I think people are pretty desperate for member berries at the moment ArAy, and think it would provide some welcome familiarity. It really is strange hearing nothing but the players in a stadium.

A possible upshot of all this is we may get some decent innovation in tech around match day experience, so I welcome the test. I would take a Virtual seat at Anfield if it meant I could actually get a ticket!

WY - cool. Altho I'll be watching through our online stream service in New Zealand. so will just see what they give us I guess!

You know if they really wanted to they could have sent the 20 Prem league teams over here to finish the season in New Zealand. They'd be able to play in front of real people!
