Seeing as it appears that we will have to sell to buy because of the current climate, which players does everyone think might be in line for the exit door during the next transfer window?

Lallana Shaq Lovren me thinks.

Well Lallana will be a free agent along with Chirivella and Clyne. I've heard that Karius could be off to either Schalke or Hertha Berlin, Adrian could be off to Real Betis as well.

Shaqiri, Awoniyi, Ojo, Wilson, Grujic, Ejaria, Kane, Lovren, and Christie-Davies seem like certainties to go if they get the right kind of deal.

My main worry is that if Wijnaldum doesn't sign a new deal he could be sold and I've heard that Origi could be sold on as well for the right price. Apparently we are quite short on cash.

It might mean that there's going to be some youth players promoted to the first team with any transfers incoming being bargain basement deals from relegated clubs, which is a trend but perhaps even moreso now.
Basically watch out Norwich city we're coming for your young quality players.

Alternatively.

Shaqiri leaves, Harry Wilson takes his place in the squad.
Lovren leaves, Nat Phillips takes his place in the squad.
Lallana leaves, Curtis Jones takes his place in the squad.
Clyne leaves, no one notices.

Save the transfers until January if needed.

Obviously, loan out Grujic for another year.

Nat Phillips is staying on loan with Stuttgart next season as far as I know. I don't think Grujic will get another loan, he'll be sold in my opinion. Wilson is a difficult one to judge, he has quality but is inconsistent at times, is he an improvement on Shaqiri? At best he'll fill the homegrown/ academy quota for various competitions. I think Jones will get a good run during the next few weeks it'll be good to see how he gets on.
