Just my 2 penny's worth on the situation. Been a Liverpool fan since I was 5, now 39, but brought up in a manchester with everyone I know being a united fan, including my family. Fell in love with the club watching Barnes, rush etc, but unfortunately spent most of my time seeing united dominate and having my nose rubbed in it. We've been close several times, but never managed to get over the line and I really thought this would be the year, (famous words for us liverpool fans) . What has happened over the last few months has changed everything.

We should be champions, but we won't. Do we really want to be gifted something? I know that we would have ended up winning it and everyone knows that, but I'd rather win it a stadium, have a parade and celebrate properly. I know that it's unfair, but what's happening now is more then unfair.

People are dying, lots of people. This is more important. When we can play again, we will go again and we will show everyone how good we really are. This is a special club, with a special manager, special players and very special fans. Let's show everyone how good we are. Wouldn't it be even better to win the league next year and win it on the pitch. Any way. Hope everyone stays safe and keeps theirs chins up. Life is to short. YNWA.

I really wouldn't be bothered. There is more important stuff happening than football in the world as you rightly said. It is hardly gifted if we were 25 points ahead is it? All the fans who seem to talk about this, deep down, obviously don't have the belief that we can win again next season, that it is a one off and they're scared it won't happen again. We aren't going to be terrible next season, admittedly other teams will be better and it will likely be a lot closer next season, but I don't care if we are 'gifted' the title this season because I have every faith, with the team Klopp has put together, that we will go on to win another title or more.

Sorry, I didn't mean gifted that we didn't deserve it, I meant gifted that we have technically not got enough to win it out right. I know we have done enough to win it, we just have got enough points to win it out right we haven't.
What a club we would show the world we are if we came out and said we want the league to be ended for the safety of everyone. Start again when it's safe and I mean safe, not when the finances say it should be safe. I might be wrong, just my thought.

Sorry Liverpool Manc, can't agree with a word of that. Obviously people are dying and that's more important than football, and if they end the league tomorrow in a way that Liverpool aren't made champions then fair enough but if we ARE awarded the league somehow I will not look at it as hollow at all. if we wer 5, 6 even 10 or 12 points clear then maybe but not at 25 points clear. what's gotten lost with this tragedy going on is that this team were going to smash any points total that existed and go down in history as one of the great teams in this country.

Spot on, Jadon Havertz. There is nothing hollow about being given your just due earlier than you should have esp. since you earned it fair and square on the pitch. The 25 point lead we STILL have with 9 games left did not happen on its own. We EARNED that advantage by smashing near everyone we played against so far. Was that advantage earned on the field hollow too? But is is hollow now cos League play was stopped due to a global Pandemic, yeah? Not having that nonsense, man,

I don't care what anyone else thinks about LFC should we be crowned champs even tho we mathematically not won it yet. What would have been, would have been. N btw if that is their ONLY reason/ logic for the title to be "hollow" then, NO team should go to the CL next season cos none of them have mathematically qualified for it. Well, except LFC who have since Feb.
