Seems papers like the times this evening saying government the last few days have asked sports organisations to step up preparations to return to action.

Date by paper was 1st of June but take that with a pinch of salt.

Some pretty radical plans of players staying in a hotel for 6 weeks to get the fixtures played.

Obviously they need to do what is safe but i am looking forward to watching football again even if it is Bundesliga.

If next season starts on time in August (and I think it may do), it will be behind closed doors.
So it could well be possible to also play behind closed doors in (possibly June), July and August to finish this season.
The break so far has been akin to a Summer break anyway, so they can still juggle next season a touch to allow sufficient rest, and that’s presuming the virus doesn’t intervene again next Winter.

I don't get why people are clinging on to this nonsense the season is still on its over plain and simple. Next season will be delayed and may return behind closed doors but don't get your hopes up about this season as its DONE.

So if this season runs to August, there is a chance it can get re-started before then.

Andyjh04, you could just let us know why you think the season will be voided (a non starter, according to Ed02) so we can have an honest debate about it instead of just chatting stuff with no points to back it up.
