ed001 there seems to be a lot more talk about Timo Werner again. Am not saying its true but if he does come do you think we might go back to how we played a good few times with bobby dropping back into the number 10 role or even 442 with bobby playing how Kenny and Beardsley played for us in the 80s.

{Ed001's Note - sometimes, but mainly he will be rotating with the front 3 depending on who is fit and in form.}

do you see it coming off ed or is it just more click bait. this rumour just will not go away so am hoping its no smoke without fire and it would give us 4 world class forwards to choose from. and do you see if he does come it being the end for Origi and may be even Brewster long term.

{Ed001's Note - no idea what will be happening after all this is over.}

Afternoon eds n reds

Ed1, in regards to Werner and our front three. Are you a ' don't change it if it ain't broke' or are you a ' don't stand still or the others will catch you up '

{Ed001's Note - bit of both really. You don't change it, but you get options prepared for when their performances do dip.}

You a Werner fan ed001?

Dont say if you want him at liverpool though as if you say yes, we all know we won't get him!

{Ed001's Note - I like him a lot. He is not as good as our current front 3 but he is very good.}

He might not be as good as our front 3 but he could be

If you put him in threw the middle the teams dynamic would change but he would imo get more goals then bobby

The question is at what cost

Bringing him in could also make bobby and the rest up there game.

Yeah, my thought as well. The best teams keep finding a way. Man utd team of 00's, and our team of the 80's added.

Both Mane and Firmino will turn 29 over the next 12 months so we need to start considering that they won't be around forever and able to play at the same level. Werner is just 24 so would be an ideal long term replacement for one of those players. He may have to wait a little while to get his chance though and I think that is why he may end up at a club where walks straight into the team, and I don't think that is us at the moment.
