Liverpool have decided to find alternative means to pay staff and will not use the coronavirus job retention scheme.

Yes they were wrong, and the people who made the decision might of thought they were making the correct one at the time.

But, when you make a mistake it’s how you respond and they have done that. Hopefully that’s a line drawn under the matter.
