Hey everyone,

I haven't posted in ages.

From a footballing perspective, the worst case scenario is the league is a write off and we still don't win the league.

But I think the main thing is we concentrate first and foremost on being responsible and staying safe and well. The important thing is we're all alive and well by next season so we can all watch our beloved club again - win or lose. So please take care, everyone.

Adam for what it's worth, well said. I hope everyone and their families aren't seriously affected by this viurs.
Irrespective of whether we win the league or not, we've played some of the best football I've certainly seen in years and the lads should be proud of their accomplishments. although I can only see the league being postponed and not cancelled so a trophy can still be lifted with our name on it!

Why Mighty Red? Lose all our players, all our sponsors and all of our revenue? Just to throw a petty tantrum?

If the league is voided so be it. We go and win it next year instead. The age of our starting XI is between 21-29. We're hardly an old team. If the team is that good we should've been targeting multiple titles in the next few years anyway.

Cancelling the league would be an embarrassing over reaction to what is literally a new strain of a virus that's been around for years anyway. But if it happens we just have to accept it. Having a strop helps nobody and certainly not us.
