A huge well done to Watford, they are fighting for survival and got their desired result, who'd of thought? lol No need to be bitter about it or put anger towards any individual (s) . We lost, it happens and we move on. Bring on Bournemouth.

Can't smash that thumbs up button enough, Salah.

We've been in the last two Champions League finals, are 22 points ahead in the league, will win it by a margin, and scored enough last season to win the league 99% of the time. We're a brilliant team, the best Liverpool team that's existed for at least 30 years. No need to get the knives out for anyone.

Key is reaction. The players need to be angry about their performance tonight and carry a desire to make amends into their next few games.

Thank god for a sensible reaction salah mate. Its a tough away game, against a team fighting for their lives. They deserved it.

Lovren was awful though, and we may have Stayed in the game if not for his mistakes.

Exactly Salah, I've lauded the team on here all season but tonight we have to take some banter that might come our way in the comfort we are still 22 points clear 😁.

Great post Salah, but can i just ask, why was Lovren parachuted into the team ahead of Matip?
If Joel was fit enough for the bench, he was fit enough to start, yes?
So why Lovren?

Our games back where against three fighting for survivial in norwich west ham and watford all 3 gave it there best and watford got the result. They were great we looked under pressure its done now i don't care how we do it as long as the premier league trophy comes to anfield. Well played watford hopefully now we go on and win our next 3 games and go again.

No one played well today but the monkeys off the back now let's go again.

I think the reason lovren got the nod was because Watford have pace in sarr and power in deeney and Matip is not the most aggressive cb and he's pretty slow too. Easy to say Matip should've played in hindsight.

I think we are in need of another cb. The drop off from gomez and vvd is pretty big and Joe does get injured a lot. Everything dejan touched either went out or went to the opposition. But he's played well too this season. He was very good at the start of the season. If/ when we win the league lovren will have played his part and will whole heartedly deserve his medal.

{Ed001's Note - not everything he touched did that, he played the best pass of the match to Robbo.}

Brilliant thread here. Spot on, Salah and SR. Watford deserved their win and we deserved the loss. As klopp has said, the whole undefeated schtick never bothered him and he said that weeks ago. We have been brilliant in the PL and CL in the past 18 months so our second loss in 66 games (1st one in 45 games) in the PL does not bother me in the least bit.

We won 97 points last season that would win any PL title in English history bar the last two and we are going to win the PL this season as well and hopefully compete for the CL final this season for the THIRD time running (best in England's top flight) . Who cares if we lose a game?

All we have to do is learn from this loss and get better as a team. Not arsed with pointing out scapegoats like Lovs cos frankly, he showed more fight than any other player on that pitch and hats off to him. Peace!
