Watchin the spurs game have to say RB are a good side all eyes on Werner he’s plenty of pace and puts in a shift and scored a pen 👍🏼 Sign him.

Defo, I also think the rb manager is a possible replacement for klopp when the day comes that he leaves, his teams are impressive, he got hoffenheim up too a good level before leaving .

Nagelsmann is the ONLY replacement for Klopp. He is learning at amazing speed and now out-thinking some of the best coaches of the past 20 years.

Hopefully all this will talk about Gerrard being the next boss will stop
I hope to never see that fella as boss
Just my opinion lads
The next boss of Liverpool I hope is now managing Werner and will do so at Liverpool again in the future.

How come you don't want him as manager in the future JJ?
He is doing a good job at Rangers in my opinion (although he is still learning and has a way to go yet) and I'd love it if he completed the circle and won the league with us.

For one outside of football he is not a decent person mate that is the truth
But inside football circles managing Liverpool should never be a given bcoz you once played for us.
Only the best of the best or at least potentially should make it to the interview stage
I want managers who will take us forward with ways and means that if possible better what klopp has down and is doing and sadly for me that isn’t Gerrard.

Brommers, that’s just it. It sounds lovely but that doesn’t make it the correct strategy.
Gerrard is doing fine at Rangers, and has done superbly in Europe so far. But nostalgic decision-making held us back for 30 years, and can’t be allowed to happen again.

I don't see anyone can have an opinion on Gerrard in 4 years time based on today. That just seems emotional to me. In 4 years time he may very well be nearing the top of his game as a manager and he would certainly have had a lot more credit and experience under his belt compared to Ole, Frank etc.

{Ed001's Note - you can't compare him to those. They are not relevant at all. If the level is being better than those we will be hiring Fat Scam!}

I understand the opinions but am similar to faithinworks. Who knows what level Gerrard will get to in a few years time. If he is the best man for the job in the owners eyes then I'd be happy to see him back.
Let's see how it pans out.

When I time comes for Klopp to move on I hope the club don't make the mistakes of the past on signing someone out of sentiment or some young coach with a 100 page dossier. I would like to think the club realise how big a job Liverpool is a sign the very best manager there is. Klopp should be the example they follow.

He's a Liverpool legend. A real legend. I'm sure he's not the only footballer who isn't perfect. But he knows the game, he's learning his trade. Let's not write it off yet. He's a young man, there's plenty of time. He doesn't have to be the next lfc manager, Could be 2 or 3 down the line. I'd love him back at Liverpool. I love the man.

I don't want an ex legend like SG to be LFC n=manager just cos he played and performed for us. That is and should never be the standard. When Klopp leaves and based onthe current trend we are on, the LFC job will be the biggest in Europe, plain and simple. Now the manager that will fill that post had better be a guy who has been performing at the highest level in a top league (not Scotland as that is a non starter) and who has a proven record in the CL.

If SG can become that guy in 4 years then so be it. If he is still at Rangers toiling in the Europa League or moribond in the CL then, no way should he be anyone near the LFC job. And yes, if we must hire a young manager, might as well get Pep Lijnders in cos at least, he knows Klopp's system and ethos much better than Gerrard ever could. He is now Klopp's brain and I'd rather him than a beloved club legend who lacks the experience at the highest level, something Lijnders already has.
