I watched the Bayern Munich game last weekend and that young left back Alphonso Davies was the best thing about the match. He is fast and was going past players for fun; his stop start speed is ridiculous.

I haven't seen a kid (19 I think) with the ability to go past players with such ease. I hope the ankle injury doesn't affect him long term as he was doing so well.

From what I have seen he has had a rough life, being born in a refugee camp in Ghana before he eventually ending up in Canada.

I have a feeling he is going to have a great career and hopefully gets back on the pitch ASAP.

Mbwell77, spot on re: Davies. I watched the Bayern v RBL game as well and Davies was brilliant all game long. I can now see why he is keeping Lucas Hernandez out of the lineup. For a RB, he is a fantastic dribbler and reminds me of a younger David Alaba. He is Canadian BUT a refugee from Ghana.
