Listen, let's not make too much of a big deal out of it. We have to stick by our team and manager. We are in such a good place, let's trust the youngsters. They've proved they can give a good account of themselves. We are always saying our youngster should get more game time. Now they have the chance we are saying its wrong. And as wirral wonder has said, they need THEIR coach there.

No disrespect intended but it is only shrewsbury at home. We'd be playing a second team no matter what.

Let's not rock the boat. Other will try so let's stick together and back our manager and our young starlets. I for one am looking forward to seeing elliot, Jones and Williams again. Decent players who should see off shrewsbury.

Are Elliot, Jones and Williams going to play? They are part of the first team lately. Klopp said noone from the first team squad will be involved?

yes they will play they aren't senior players. The problems will be cb's and gk we don't have kids good enough to play those positions. Elsewhere on the pitch we will be just fine. Although we don't have a cf.

Might be informative to look at the squad selected against Aston Villa 👍.

I'm all for giving the youngsters more game time, but they need some experience alongside them. We have not had an FA Cup run for years, so playing a second team of youngsters and senior players who have not played in months was the right thing to do and the same team should play the replay.
Matip, Lovren, Fabinho, Minamino and keita need matches as they've been out for ages. I appreciate we don't know what happens behind the scenes but when a club has a squad of 25 players they should use it.

We should'nt be fooled by the Everton game and think a whole team of kids will beat Shrewsbury, they may well do but Shrewsbury with a team full of experienced pros could turn Liverpool over.

My guess at the line up, time for some of the boys to become men and those with a * I feel can deliver from what I have seen

GK - Caoimhin Kelleher*
RB - Neco Williams *
CB - Ki-Jana Hoever *
CB - Sepp van den Berg*
LB - Yasser Larouci *
MF - Curtis Jones*
MF - Pedro Chirivella*
MF - Luis Longstaff
FW - Harvey Elliot*
FW - Joe Hardy
FW - Jack Bearne

I would love it for the kids to get a win, my prediction is 3-2 let them play football and express and enjoy themselves. Hopefully the Anfield crowd can bring the noise!

KingCarlos I agree with the starred players bar VDB. The guy is not good enough or at least he some way from first team football.

That team would concede too many. VDB is someway off atm, and the keeper.

Vdb is a decent cb. He is clearly lacking confidence but a good performance is just what he needs.
