So we are now 40 games unbeaten, level with what Chelsea did back in 04/05.

Even last season when we only lost one game, I didn't think we'd see anything like this from us. Especially when we didn't make any significant changes to the squad, and a lot of other teams did.

I would go as far as to say I didn't think this kind of unbeaten run was possible in the premier league these days, simply because even the lesser teams have money to spend.

Even though I may have my Liverpool tinted specs on, I think that this is arguably the most impressive run of results the Premier League has ever seen.

Chelsea can still get a points total of 82 and Leicester 90 with city 93 if I'm correct . but everyone says liverpool is winning cos others are doing rubbish . load of bollocks. 82 points was definitely enough to win the league yrs ago and mayb in future . but we have just brought it to next level. but as we are lfc all these salty rival fans put it down to league been easier lol. who wants some chips?

Behave Ed. Funny how last season nobody said it when city won the league. This is the best team to grace the premier league and the results speak for themselves.

{Ed025's Note - liverpool are great lerchy i cant dispute that, but you must admit that the rest have had some poor results mate and nobody besides yourselves have had an extended winning run..

Spot on gezza. It a myth. We (and City Tbf) are making the rest look poor. And this is meant to be the best league in the world. It is, when we're selling it, but as soon as Liverpool do well it rubbish.

I actually agree with Ed's 25. I'm loving this season. Maybe were not playing with the flair of the past 2 seasons but we are grinding out results doing what we have to and have a winning mentality. Last night was the only time I've thought we could actually lose a game this season. But we have to be honest. City have been poor compared to seasons gone by. United arsenal and spurs have all been awful this season. As for the points tallys other teams can get. If you want to be picky they can't reach those amounts as leicester still have to play city. City also have chelsea so they will drop points. And let's be honest leicester and chelsea will still drop plenty of points and city probably too. End of the day I don't care what every one else does as long as we win. Just hope we win in Europe and the FA Cup too.

Even if the other teams picked up 9 extra points each Wed still be comfortably in the lead with a game in hand.

So I suppose a bit of both is fair enough. It's not fair to take away from our amazing season tho. We've been phenomenal.

Anyone know a way to watch the wolves game again? I'd like to watch it with a more critical eye as it was pretty horrible watching it last night.

I pointed this out previously, every season the top team is at least 2 games ahead of 2nd place and miles ahead of 3rd downwards. The top 2 team relative to the rest of the league ALWAYS out perform the rest of the league.

I'f the rest of the teams r so poor then it makes what liverpool r doing all the more impressive. To keep that focus, concentration and winning mentality while playing teams they know they r better than every week.
