Ed. What's your view on Chelsea using retro kit for the FA cup game. Can you see more teams doing it.
Personally I think it's a nice gesture but can be crippling for parents to have to spend out for another kit potentially.

{Ed001's Note - they will do it because then they can flog another kit. Nice to have one without logos like but it was just about making more money.}

They do that in North American sports all of the time, they will wear a retro jersey occasionally, its just another shirt they can sell.
On another note, parents don't HAVE to spend anything, they can just say no to their kids.

I would agree Thunderbird. When I was a kid I had to wait until Birthdays or Christmas for "gifts" otherwise it was a case of saving up my pocket money. I appreciate there's definitely pressure on parents to try to keep their kids "up-to-date" but you should always try your best not to spoil them. We've gone off way off course of Liverpool now we're talking parenting though!
