Brilliant one, Ed01. Matip has indeed improved to be the CB we all thought he could be when he first signed. On the injury front tho, I fear this will hold him back moving forward cos at 28, the recurring injuries don't slow down as you get older. The accelerate cos your body is weakened tho older you get hence, recovering from injuries then becomes harder and take longer. I hope he is able to overcome these injuries cos like you said at 28, he should be at his peak. Just my opinion.

Thanks Ed, that was possibly my thoughts too, although Matip isn't far behind him, but we're keeping clean sheets again and Joe must be part of that.
