Just out of interest will Minamino be the first Japanese player to play for Liverpool. I’ve racked my brain and I can’t think of another one.
Am quiet excited to sign him if am honest!

I'm English, the wife is Japanese, the kids mixed race and been living in Japan for 15 years. When I told everyone around the table the news, the wife got excited but the kids just said who's he? Dad's influence! They only know the premier league players! I'm pretty sure he's the first Japanese player. I'm off to watch the Watford game with the local LFC supporters club this Saturday, early kick off in the UK means 9:30pm for us. I'm sure they'll be buzzing if it turns out to be true.
