Thanks Ed. I thought tactically, we had it all wrong yesterday. We should have gone for it yesterday but instead we were way too defensive minded in my opinion. I'd have liked to have seen Ox start in the midfield ahead of Milner. I thought Milner played well and almost had a really nice goal, but I think Ox offers more creativity and is more of a threat on the offensive end. In my opinion he has all of the makings to be a classic box to box midfielder. Also, I thought Alisson could have positioned himself better for that Napoli goal. He was way to protective of the near post. It was a very nice finish, but he could have done better. I agree 100% everything you wrote about the culpability of VVD, Robertson and especially Lovren on the goal as well. I'm a little concerned about the first half of both matches. Maybe it's because Klopp is starting his rotation in preparation for December and the second half of the season? Having said all of that, we are still top of the group with one match to play and top of the premier league, so can't complain too much. I do think that the Salzburg match is very tricky and we could lose it if we aren't at the top of our game. They are deadly in the attack.

There's something about Napoli that we can't even put in a performance against them. Tough game now, I really don't want to be playing Europa League football.

Great review as always Ed. What did you make of the penalty call against Salah? I thought it was as clear a penalty as can be. Koulibaly was practically wrestling him to the ground. It's one of those annoying situations where you have to "dive" to get given it. Which makes the whole diving debacle worse. Frustrating to say the least.

{Ed001's Note - it was a clear penalty, no idea why it wasn't given, Koulibaly clearly fouled him 3 times. The ref was very lenient in that match, to say the least.}

About the goal they scored Ed/ lads and lasses I thought Allison was a bit to near to his post yep I no you don’t want to get caught out but I thought he could have been half a yard to his right and possibly saved it.

{Ed001's Note - and if he was there Mertens slides it in at the near post. He couldn't win and that shot was precise.}
