Anyone else slightly concerned at how well Leicester are playing? No CL and If they steer clear of injuries, can see them doing well.

Rodgers will Rodgers it up at some point. Not worried.

Respectful but if we keep winning then not a jot.

No worries. top 4 that’s all for Leicester.

It wasn't Rodgers who "Rodgered" it up back in 2014. I fully respect Leicester.

Leicester are on a good run but no I’m not worried. Chelsea did something similar last season, as did Arsenal. They won’t keep that consistency all season.

Leicester have the advantage of winning it 3 seasons ago were we have 30 years of pressure, no flying round the world mid season an no European footy the thing that might cock them up is injuries to key players eg vardy, vardy and maybe maddison and vardy . I think they look strong though not too be taken lightly.

I do blame Rodgers to a point for throwing the league.

Gerrard playing a stupid position splitting the centre backs.

Chelsea game attacked when they parked the bus (draw would have done) and the above left no cover for the infamous slip.

Palace 3-0 up and kept going for it and drew the game.

I think we only really need to focus on ourselves, what other teams do is not really relevant if we keep picking up points. United and Palace were, by far, our worst performances of the season, both were away from home, yet we managed to pick up 4 points from them. It is a really good sign of how resilient the team is and how able they are to really fight for points. It's not particularly comfortable viewing - really need us to just have a nice comfortable result soon, if only for my heart - but it bodes very well for the team.

I do think we lack significantly when one of the front 3 is absent - hopefully Shaqiri will be back soon as, though he isn't at their level, he still offers a good degree of quality and, unlike Origi or Ox (the latter of which should only be played in midfield in my opinion), is able to function effectively out wide. Napoli midweek is a huge game, and will be another really close one. I'm hoping Brighton at Anfield at the weekend will be a more straight forward affair but, given how we've been this season, it'll probably be a 7-6 thriller.

Fair play to Leicester so far but with an 8 point gap, I’m not worried no. They will lose more games than we do from this point on and I don’t see them catching us.

I also disagree with people showing disrespect saying he’ll Rodgers it like he did with us.

Overall his tenure with us wasn’t great and I know he’s not popular on these pages (understandably) . But the man still took us closer than most have so let’s not belittle him for that.

I'd be more worried a put Leicester if they were going to earn 5 pts / win rest of the way.

Rodgers takes no credit for getting us into the position of being able to win the league but he takes all the blame for messing it up. Sounds about right.

Regardless of Europe, travelling etc. we are miles better than Leicester. Why would we be worried about them?

I predicted before the season that LC would break into the top 6, if not the top 4 and for now, that is the reality. Now are they a challenge to us and should we be worried? I don't care really cos our boys are way too focused on themselves and their performances and that is the way it should be.

As for whether BR will "BR" it again, I have no idea BUT I do know that LC will hit a wall just like Chelsea will (esp. on the road vs the bigger teams) and then we will see how they react.

As for whether BR takes all the blame for our failure in 13/ 14, I blame him for not trying to fix our inherent defensive issues that in the end, did us in near the end. Also, his naivete and inability to manage all the emotions and ferveur around the team and how Mou punked him into losing his composure when it mattered most in that Chelsea game, cost us as well. Mou tried the same thing with Klopp and Klopp did not fall for it in one of the utd games at Anfield two seasons ago. I salute him for getting us playing some good football and putting us in that position to begin with BUT his arrogance, naivete and tactical defficiencies
did us in, IMO.
