Morning eds and reds! Great result yesterday and we played really well all over the pitch I thought.

Will there be a match review ed? Would like to know your opinion on hendo playing wide, is this to allow Trent more space for his crossing or another reason I'm missing?

On to Arsenal where we can give a few fringe players chances and then Villa for another 3 points!

Oh gee whiz. The same old " oh, come on, he's not match fit and needs a run of games to reach his level" doesn't apply to Lovren? But it does to Gomez (and others)?

ArAy I agree with what you're saying and there always will be players who don't get tarnished with the same brush. I didn't think Lovren was that bad yesterday but we all know that he isn't as good as the other 3 centre backs and he is just as likely to make a mistake that costs us a goal as he is to save us one.

I'll go a step further JK23. The Lovren of last night was not as bad as the Gomez vs. Genk. That's how off-form I think Gomez is. That doesn't detract from the fact that an in-form Gomez is far better than Lovren in-form. The issue is that Gomez is simply out of it right now. So why should we risk it considering we're on our most serious title push in decades?

ArAy I think Klopp agrees with your assessment there also mate. Hence why it looks like Gomez has been relegated to 4th choice centre back and has a centre midfielder starting ahead of him as 2nd choice right back. I really hope Joe rediscovers his form and confidence soon.

Lerchy, could you please explain how Lovs was crap cos I thought he was solid overall? Also, he shut down Harry Kane pretty well overall esp. in the secod half so again, why do you think Lovs was crap?
