28 points out of 30. We’re rightly get the praise for being in title form but what the press are not mentioning is we’ve played Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, United and Leicester in those 10 games. I could be wrong but City’s only too game has been against Spurs. Not only have we gained almost maximum points but City still have 4 more games against these sides.

Check out Man City's fixtures until Christmas, very very difficult. If we can beat City at home then we will never have a better chance.

In any other scenario these facts would likely turn out to be significant, but not against this City team. They won 8/ 10 of their games against other ‘top 6’ teams last season, and also won 8/ 10 the season before last. They will win the vast majority of those aforementioned games again as no manager other than Klopp or Nuno Santo has the fortitude to call Pep’s bluff.
Arsenal regularly provide City with their easiest 6 points of the season, for instance. The last two seasons have been as follows: 3-1, 0-3, 0-3, 0-2, 3-1.

I'm just enjoying the lot of it mate, end of the day no game in the league is easy yet we're winning the vast majority, long may it continue. City want a go this time around? Bring them on, same goes for Villa. Every team deserves respect, let's see what we can do.

Did I mention, we're going to win the f'n league!

Hey Salah loving the optimism, I've got us finishing 2nd just a few points ahead of Arsenal.

I was thinking it yesterday, if we had won united we would not have even dropped points yet, we are a few points better off and city a few points worse than last season. If we can beat City we will put ourselves in a good position to press on!

We just need to keep on winning and avoid going through a patch of draws like last season. Focus on ourselves.

Hopefully some of the other teams grow a backbone and give City a go. Nuno and Klopp only 2 who know!

Spot on, LoweLFC. The standard rules no longer apply when it comes to this City team. City won 18 of their last 19 games last season (while having the more difficult run-in) to win the PL so I put niothing past them. As Salah said, let's just enjoy the lot and focus on ourselves and our games. Whatever happens, will happen and we will adjust.

I brought this up last week as a source of optimism we can be hopeful suits us. Over the 1st 10 fixtures ours were massively tougher yet we've come out with 6 points gain.

Obviously city are capable of going on a run an taking care of these tough games they have coming up it's also likely to feel confident they will face teams who can take points off them now more than ever. City have a defence that weaker teams are getting at and the likes of Leicester, Chelsea, arsenal have attacking players who will feel they can hurt them this year much more than they were confident of doing in previous seasons. I also think our front 3 at anfield with an electric atmosphere will be capable of tearing straight into their defence as they struggle massively dealing with movement and running from forwards off the ball. We have to feel we can use this period to our maximum advantage as they will only get stronger in the new year.
