Summer signing of the season so far has to Adrian. Lad has been nothing short of capable in filling up in the absence of the best goalie in the world.

Thought he had two great games. He was very good at Napoli too.

I don't remember us ever having such a good situation with goal keepers. Adrian probably better than a lot of number 1's we have had over the years.

He looks like he's improving which is what I find most pleasing. Always thought he was an excellent shot stopper at West ham but his confidence and quality seems to be improving on the ball. So far he has been very very good.

Watching yesterday I noticed VVD was constantly on Adrians case, whether he done something right or wasn't quick enough to react and claim through balls he seemed to be constantly nagging him. I just wonder if Klopp has told VVD to do this to keep Adrians concentration up during the game and cut out the rash moments we've seen in previous games.

He's definitely stepped up since his supposed higher intensity training during the international break. I think he's been excellent since international break. Obviously Alisson is a step up again but I'm starting to get really comfortable with Adrian which I was never able to with Mignolet and Karius.

How do you think Adrian is getting on?

{Ed001's Note - he has been excellent, not Alisson-level excellent obviously, but number 2 keeper level excellent. He doesn't have the same range of passing or come off his line as quickly or as far, but he is a number 2 after all and you don't expect them to be as good as the first choice. Certainly a step up on the first choices we have had in recent years before Alisson arrived.}
