Thank goodness that jurgen klopp arrived and rescued Bobby Firmino from Brendan Rodgers, we would not have the front 3 we have now and Firmino would probably have been sold already and labelled a premier league flop, the day klopp arrived was the day Firmino's Liverpool career started, the debate will always be about who is more important but personally ALL 3 are equally as important, when they click there is no finer sight in football, early days granted but the signs are that this season, like last season is going to be a exciting one for all Liverpool fans.
Lets enjoy and see what happens.

Bobby should have his own seperate page! Glad he is doing much better but let's keep everything in perspective. Klopp rescued the whole club as far as I am concerned and Bobby took a while to get going under Klopp. A front 3 of Courts, Bobby, Lallana was never going to cut it. By bringing in Mane and Salah it took Bobby's game up a few levels.

He has been our best player in the first few games and Long may it continue.

Spot on, OP and Mark. BR's incompetence could have cost us even more considering how clueless his ability to get the best out of Bobbie, a player we spent near 30m on (big money at the time) . I heard somewhere that BR actually did not want him and he was forced on him by the transfer committee. Hence, there is a belief that it was actually Klopp who recommended Bobbie way before he arrived. I don't know if any of this is true. Ed01, could you clarify, pls?

Either way, Bobbie is the BEST CF on the planet for what he can do. I have watched CF's for the past 25 years in the PL or wherever (Ronaldo, Shevchenko, Van Basten etc) and IMO, NONE of them could do what Bobbie does. He is simply unique hence, he is special. One of the best all round footballers I have ever seen.

Berg469, Cou was Bobbie's best mate and both were electrifying when on song on the pitch. Remember the 4-1 drubbing at City when Klopp first arrived? They were unplayable that day and many other games after. Bobbie was transformed as soon as BR was sacked and Benteke got binned. Just my opinion, man.

Berg, it's only normal for Cou to overshadow Bobbie. He had been here longer.

I think bobby has had much more influence on games since coutinho left even though not drastically obvious. Coutinho loved that inside left space and always wanted to drift into those pockets which I often noticed left firmino going missing or sitting very deep, with mane and salah they like to either go behind the defence or come short in wider areas, firmino then plays his best football with the spaces between CB and MF from the edge of the box to the 40 yards from goal at His disposal, he creates the openings for Trent, robbo salah and mane far more often than we notice. When coutinho and/ or lallana played with him I thought we lost out on his best involvements as they want to play in those spaces too. Our current midfield and wide players don't crowd him out.
