Great read Ed001 mate!

I do though have to say I'm flummoxed by FIFA's and USSF's ruling on the Ecuadorian match given they sanctioned the 15 year deal for competitive La Liga matches to be played in the USA. Have I got this wrong?

{Ed001's Note - they didn't sanction the La Liga matches, hence La Liga going through Ecuador to try and get them to allow Ecuadorian league matches, which would then weaken their position in opposition to Spanish league matches being played there.}

Thanks for the reply mate. I honestly thought they'd sanctioned the matches starting in the period 2019 - 2022.My mistake. Thanks for all your hard work and the interesting reading that you keep providing.

{Ed001's Note - no worries mate. It was the La Liga president who sanctioned them, everyone else, pretty much, was against the idea.
