Theres definitely a swagger to Wijnaldum when he plays for the Netherlands. May well just be that's he's playing a different role for them, but he looks so much more confident making forward runs.

Hope he makes a few more of those this season. Though he did it when it mattered against Barca.

i think its more down to his different role because every now and then we see him making a run for us and wonder why he doesn't do it more often, which he is more than capable of doing, seen through his role in the dutch side. quality player. absolutely love him.

There is a reason why at one time, Ed01 said in their youth, Gini was actually more highly rated than Messi by certain observers, He is a brilliant footballer, one who can play near ANY position in midfield. His intelligence and football brain is unbelievable. I know he can improve in certain areas BUT for me, it is a joy to watch a smart, intelligence and skillful football go to work for LFC.
