In a few weeks Robbie Fowler brings his Brisbane team to my humble Queensland town. My son will be playing in an invitation district team against them and the staff will be running coaching sessions for the young kids. I must say, it'll be a bit of a thrill to be in the dugout opposite the man himself, trying to not let my boys get a hammering. I'll be sure to lay the scouse accent on nice and thick to make him feel at home. Just had a thought, if I shout out instructions to the Brisbane players with my accent, I could cause havoc :)

Enjoy mate, sounds a great day and I love Fowler, my favourite player to watch growing up. Though, that aside, I hope your son plays an absolute belter of a game.

They have built a wonderful sports facility up here in hervey Bay. 4 years ago the roar promised to visit once improved facilities were available. The local council have delivered and the roar have kept their promise. Thankyou to all involved and hopefully we can unveil a few superstars up here in the Bay in the near futurs.
