Any info on what’s happening with Martin skrtel. Signed a contract and cancelled it?

{Ed002's Note - Gasperini explained to Skrtel that he should not expect to be a starter (as they have six or seven CBs) and that he would be used as cover. Skrtel apparently expected to start - so his contract has been cancelled. Nothing more sinister.}

Ed002, because he's cancelled his contract before the transfer window has ended, is he not just basically a free agent and can sign for someone after the deadline? Forgive me if I'm completely wrong though please.

So is it a case of if he doesn't find a new club today, he's basically not going to be able to play for anyone until January?

Thanks again Ed002. I really don't wish to disturb you too much so if anyone else wants to chip in please do.

I'll try to spell it out if it's a case of transfer windows. If Skrtel doesn't find a club today, he'll need to find a club in Bulgaria, Romania, Russia or Australia if he wants to play again this year?

{Ed002's Note - I don't understand the issue you are trying to create. He has to move to a country where the transfer window is still open or get an exception - which I said originally.}
