Just a quick post on James Milner.

Just saw his post that Mane was reacting to him not coming on. :)

He moved seats to get close to Mane a calm him down a bit even though he would have been disappointed himself.

The way he wins the Beep test every single preseason.

The way he conducts himself off the pitch.

The way he brings humour to the squad at the right times and also as Klopp mentions gives important x rated motivational speeches.

WHAT A LEADER WE HAVE IN OUR SQUAD!

Could see Milner becoming a top manager should he choose that route.

I was just going to post about this, just shows that the players have moved on from it, therefore the press and the fans should too.

I think he would make a cracking coach if that's the path he chooses when he retires, although the way millie is going that won't be for another 20 years!

He has many a quality that bloke, and i for one will be gutted when he leaves our team. He's a great player that can play anywhere and he has been a model professional from day one. We've been lucky to have him.

I think he is the number one leader in the squad. Klopp said Milner is the one who gives the talks before the really big games.

I won't be surprised if Milner retires at LFC and becomes part of the backroom staff right after esp. if Klopp were to leave in 2022 after his contract expires.

I certainly wouldn't mind that happening Redwolf. Or he can go over to Leeds and then come back after a year or so. He could do well with youth development or even assist the manager. If Arteta can do it with Guardiola, I don't see why Milner can't.

I see him being a good coach but I don't see him as elite level manager potential. He seems too nice a guy.

Of course I am looking at him from the outside without knowing him personally.
