This was such a good read. I never knew what was going on back then so happy to have decent owners now.

Also the time after him was such a mess. I understood rodgers appointment but Roy Hodgson was a nightmare and I do not say this with hindsight. It was an awuful decision.

Thank God we did not turn out to be like Leeds, Forest or Villa once extremely successful clubs in England.

PakRed, I personally feel it's kind of unfair to pick out Roy Hodgson. Granted the football was crap, the players were crap and the atmosphere was crap. But it was so toxic behind the scenes in the boardroom, that I think considering the budget, the lack of support from the fans and the fact that we could potentially going into administration at the time, really didn't help his cause.

I'm not saying he would have been the right pick at a different time, far from it, but I do think he would have made us more competitive if he had some more wiggle room.
