He will certainly replace Henderson in the Liverpool Team overnight, and will also take Hendersons England Slot, don't think he will get Hendos Captains Armband, Virgil looks nailed on?

Definitely jumped the gun there. Everyone will have a role to play and rotation is key. Ox at his best is in my Liverpool first 11, but he's a long way from his best. I'm thrilled he's back and mentioned it after the last game, but let's not get carried away.

And can we please not turn his return into a chance to rubbish on Henderson. I thought the fan base was over that as a result of his performances at the end of last season. They don't even play the same position for England. Passing over the Armband? what? you're years off.

Not sure if it's worth the time, but probably should point out Hendo signed 5 years contract extension just last year taking him to September 2023.Ox contract extension is one year add on to his current contract taking him to September 2023. same sort of future if you ask me.

007, think you may have slightly exaggerated it there, OX will be valuable providing he stays fit but so will Hendo. He is still underestimated in this squad and plays a vital role For the team,
Hendo will be Liverpool captain until he leaves, there is no reason to take it off him and Klopp has built a team that has several captains.

007, I topped reading when you started spouting some "Hendo is the past" drivel that really makes very little sense. Hendo is capt. until Klopp says otherwise. I know you and your ilk have serious issues dealing with this reality and have been trying to strip Hendo of not only his captaincy but of his LFC squad place and YET he is still here. Could it be that it is cos Klopp rates him highly and so do his team mates? I would ask you to get ovr yourself and your Hendo obsession (the guy clearly has a ten-bedroom Villa in your head) BUT I know you won't so carry on.

007- firstly your comments crack me up! I agree, a fit Ox is certainly our future and offers something Hendo doesn’t. As for replacing? There’s no need for such a word in today’s modern game. Different games offer different obstacles and both have different qualities. I think on their day both offer so much to the TEAM. I’m enjoying this strong ENGLISH core that being so much more than just football skills.

Henderson on form is a top midfield player and is horrifically under rated. Even off form he works his arse off for the team.
