It's an absolute travesty what is going on with Bury, I know previously ed002 has said more clubs will struggle as the league structure is unsustainable for so many professional clubs.
But it's a club who have been around for 130 odd years and will bookmark endless family stories. And an owner is probably going to see them go out of business is just a shameful ending.
I can imagine there are rules stopping PL clubs getting involved but the disparity in figures, between what Bury owe, and what PL clubs spend on players is astonishing.

I really hope it doesn't come to them being kicked out of the league as the fans deserve much better.

It’s a shame because without the lower league teams not sure how many good young players would slip through the net. And you have to look at players that go on loans like Harry Kane who built his career on loans before his breakthrough. But it’s the same with everything nowadays so expensive to run things, but there is a lot well run clubs in them leagues but football clubs are a massive part of every town and city in the uk.

it's no suprise. I mean it's not a coincidence that Bury and Bolton are struggling when Man City has come out of nowhere right on their doorstep one of the best team in the world. Flocks of Wanderers and Shakers over the last 10 years have dropped their teams and gone supporting City. I've seen it first hand with mates now are massive City fans when 5 years ago supported Bolton since birth?! It's a joke and disgusting but I can see how it's happened. Gradual demise of 2 historic northern clubs, because of the rise of another local to them. It's a shame I don't want to see ANY club disappear.
