Well it's done, no point crying over spilt milk. The window is closed. We certainly aren't a bad team over night and we do have some serious quality in our squad.

I can't see us losing just the one game this season but then it didn't stop City winning the League last season with the amount of games they lost. Maybe we can possibly learn a lesson there? We will need a degree of luck and hope our main players stay healthy. I'm looking forward to see how Brewster gets on, I'm certain he can't do worse than Sturridge 😁.

My first prediction of the new season is Liverpool 5- Norwich 0.

Oh and Ole and Silva to be sacked by Christmas 👍.

Imagine the crying on here at 10 tomorrow night if we didn't win?

1-1 for me lads, this is a young and excellent Norwich side who are good enough to stay in the league.

Third for us this season then a small rebuild next summer.

The fact that people could be crying over split milk cos Klopp would not do what they want, is hilarious in itself.

Only crying i see is from the same posters who refuse to allow others to have their own opinion.

4 nil for me tomorrow night. can't bloody wait.
Next season I expect to go head to head with city all the way again. Spurs to push till January and fall away. still next better players in my eyes.
The rest can fight it out.

How do people stop others having "their own opinion" on here? No poster on here has that power apart from the Ed's.

Correct RedWolf, some so called "fans" need to get over this feeling of entitlement that they have.

And it’s fans like you that get on my nerves Irishman.

I’ve spent thousands following this team home and away since the mid 80’s both in hours and monetary terms, through the great times and the dark times

How dare you use the phrase entitlement when it comes to how a person feels towards a transfer window.

I’m in the “ bracket of “ we should have strengthened this window so you put me in your “ entitlement category.

My concern is the fixture pile up at Christmas with the team going to the Middle East to play in a competition. Injustied after the International breaks and being able to compete in all competitions.

So I’m sorry if you disagree with that but I’m entitled to my bloody option.

Irishman please explain what makes you a better fan compared to the so called fans.

Drogie that must make you a “so called fan” like myself. Not sure what we have to do to Become a true fan like others.

Drogie stop crying like a spoiled child that didn't get the sweets he wanted. Then tell Klopp next time you see him that you're very sad he didn't do what you wanted him to.

Does Waro still have his Fan of the year trophy? Maybe he could dust it off incase we need to use it this season? 🙄🙄.

Would people have preferred the usual way it goes with us after we have a decent season? You know the one where 1 of our best players leaves and we've to try and rebuild (again) but fall away for a couple of seasons. Or take what happened this summer where we keep everyone, no bedding in, no wondering will partnerships work. I know which I prefer. That's not to say i wouldn't have loved a new player in because like almost everyone on here I would but it is what it is and as the 2nd best midfielder I've seen play for us once said "we go again".

Red wolf this was your post from 1 Jul. It seems your opinion has changed.

OP, I would not want us to do a Spurs for sure as that is just unacceptable and Klopp isn't that stupid. besides, it's not that Spurs deliberately did not sign anyone. They just could not get who they wanted. If my memory serves me well, Spurs wanted Xaha (Palace wanted 80m) and Jack Grealish of Villa BUT could not get those deals done. I even recall Steve Bruce (then Villa manager) poking fun at Spurs for them not doing enuff to get Grealish. Just wanted to put that out there.

We need options at FB, GK (if Migs leaves) and a versatile forward. The Ed's have said we are tracking players in these areas and there is interest. Who knows? May be we have deals done BUT not yet announced so in the end, not worried cos I will be shocked out of my skin if we sign nobody. Enjoy your summer holidays, lads.

Irishman. I would always like us to add quality players to the squad. Which fan wouldn’t. I’m not upset or angry that we didn’t. If anything I’m just feeling extremely nervous (like i do most seasons) that we get off to a good start and I’m anxious that our 3 main men VVD, Salah and Mane can stay fit for the season. I think it’s great that we’ve kept all our big players and all seem to be happy (with exception of Salah flirting with Madrid but as long as he keep performing) I don’t think that mates me a lesser fan though. I just think my opinion might be different from the next fans.

Settled team, everyone knows their job, whereas I don’t think we’ll batter Norwich, I think we’ll win by a couple of goals as a gentle loosener.

Drogie, you and I are cut from the same cloth, mate and I couldn't agree more with your post, mate. I wasn't as lucky as you to be there in Madrid, but I too have spent thousands over the decades, and am privileged to have done so.

What is wrong with expressing the opinion of wishing we had strengthened our squad? It's an opinion, that's all.

To be fair JK23 my barb wasn't aimed at you or Drogie to be honest. I've read bits from both of you that are well balanced and with the best interests of the club at heart. But there is some that are hoping we fail this season just so they can say "I told you, you should have listened to me". That's who I was taking aim at.

Very sensible 6times. I hope the footballing gods will be smiling on us tomorrow and we win. a clean sheet and a couple from VVD will do me good for my fantasy team.

Irishman no worries mate. Unfortunately There will always be the I told you so people in life. Even if we win the league those same people will change their tune and claim they told us so.

With respect boys but what does the amount of money you have spent or how many matches you have went to got to do with anything? I feel you both are putting yourselves on the upper echelons of Liverpool supporter! Maybe I'm wrong?

Drogie I stand by my statement that there is some on here that feel they've a sense of entitlement when it comes to the club. I've seen posts like "I don't want x, y or z in my club". That's not an opinion mate, no chance. Or those that are waiting for us to fail just so they can say "see we should've signed x, y or z". Me personally, would've loved a signing or 2 but maybe like Virgil, whoever Klopp wanted won't be available until January. Anyway we start this evening and here's hoping.
