Not usually a doom monger but think we might regret that transfer window come Xmas. Always seems to be the way with us, we win something but we don't kick on. Anyways. Role on Friday. Let's send those boys back to Norwich with a headache.

To be honest I don't think we have to much to worry about. Arsenal have probably done the best business. Man United's window has been poor for me in terms of what they needed. Chelsea haven't done wonders especially with losing Hazard. Spurs have done well but not as well as it was looking at one point and there's a good chance Levy will try and balance the books by selling Erikson and rose which could arguably leave them weaker than before. City have a replacement for fernandinho but it will be impossible to compete in window with them. Klopp has released a lot of deadwood and freed up a lot in wages. Hopefully Keita will turn up this season and with Ox back and Brewster could be promising.

I think we're fine. It isn't uncommen for your back up lb to be a younger player. Larouci and lewis look like they could hack it imo. I think in brewster, origi, shaqiri, lallana and Aoc is pretty good cover for our front three.

As long as henderson plays our midfield is sorted. Keita going to be much better. I can see a trio of fab, hendo and keita playing quite a lot. But nice to have milner, gini aoc and lallan who can play there too. I think we're fine.

A thousand times, new signings are not the sole way to improve a team and can sometimes have a negative effect. We need forwards who can get at least 60 between them. Check. We need a midfield to hustle, win the ball and make it hard for the opposition. Check
You need t full backs that can cross well and be athletic plus cover, check. You need a group of cbs oh high quality, check and you need a couple of decent keepers. Check.

I don't care if its these player or another 25 (well, i do really. Just watched moneyball) but if we have a squad that can produce what's needed, we will be very very hard to beat.

I’m not worried mate. City’s defence is still shocking, particularly if Laporte is injured as Stones and Otamendi are poor. Additionally, Zinchenko is by no stretch of the imagination a left back.

My hope is that improvements further down the table mean they’re pressed better, as that’s when they mistake mistakes. Wolves proved that last season. Great defences typically win titles and that’s what I’m banking on this year. Alisson and the defence now have a full year under their belt. More goals from the midfield (hoping the ox + Keita can help with that) and we’re looking good.

What Eamon said. Plus I reckon United will struggle and Arsenal are like us under Rodgers.

It seems as though Fernandinho could play centre back for City this year, which is a good option for them I think. City are still the team to beat obviously.
Spurs look interesting.
The domestic cups look like U23 competitions for us which seems exciting on the one hand but I have memories of Wenger’s Arsenal on the other.
Anyway, Klopp certainly deserves our full support.
Roll on Friday. Come on you mighty Reds.

Fernandinho must be knocking 35? I’d fancy Salah or Mane running him, or sending on big Div and putting the ball in the mixer as he won’t fancy that.

OP, a once great man once said, "There is nothing to fear but fear itself". You cannot plan for everything, mate. We have made a decision as a club and we will go with what we have got if you allow fear an anxiety to overcome you or start second-guessing stuff, that would be choice you would have made. I and many others, choose differently. Above all tho, Football Is Back!
