Anyone else impressed with Lallana and Keita yesterday when they came on in the second half? Lallana gets his far share of critics but he looked fit and on it and could well be a good option this season. Didn't see any cruyff turns either.

Keita looked lively and sharp Virgil. I hope he becomes a headache in a good way for Klopp because he was always the one expected to be No1 on the midfield team sheet but Fabinho took that crown imo but Naby finally at his best would be a lovely headache.

I was, OP. There was a sequence of play that happened (the one that led to Salah being thwarted by Bravo on the edge of the box) that symbolized the impact they along with Ox, made.

The ball goes to the left and Ox chases down Stones. Ox sees that Stones is about to pass the ball to Bernardo Silva down the right sideline. The pass is released and already, Ox motions to Naby to press Siva. As that is happening, Lallana from CM, recognizes that the only option Silva has is Rodri at the edge of his box so he is already sprinting towards him and Rodri doesn't even know it.

Silva (seeing Naby coming at him like a freight train) releases the pass quickly and by the time it gets to Rodri, Lallana is on him like a rash and coughs up the ball. Lallana releases Salah and the chance happens. Had that goal been scored, it would have been a thing of beauty. That is the Klopp high press at its finest, IMO. I hope they can contribute to our quest for trophies this season.

I thought Ox Lallana and Keita looked really sharp when they came on. Just need one of them starting to give us something different in the middle.
