Goodmorning Eds and Reds. Any of the Eds know what is the plan with Sepp Van Den Berg? Is he going out on a loan to get game time or is he staying to give depth to the squad?

{Ed001's Note - don't know sorry, he is a kid it is difficult to find out these things with youngsters.}

I think it depends on Lovren. if he leaves then Sepp becomes an option, we are in the Efl trophy this yr so the under 23s get more chances of competitive games.

My guess is he won’t be loaned out. With the injury record of the 4 centre backs in front of him he will stand a good shot of getting a bit of game time this season.

To me, this might be Lovs' last season at LFC so if he does not leave, Van Den Berg has a whole year to bed in and be around the first team squad (as that is what he and Elliott were signed for) so he can take over next season from Lovs. Just my hunch.

I can't see him going on loan. 17 year old kid just moved to a new country, let him settle in and train and play in our way. The u23s would be realistic for this year I feel.
