I know everyone is busy but wondering would anyone have time to do a preview of the season ahead for each team with new acquisitions, coaches etc obviously taken into account? Have the clubs improved their weaknesses that you saw last season kinda thing.
Many thanks.

I think west ham in my opinion have done all the right things. In diop and balbuena they have the making of a strong CB partnership. Declan rice has shown he is always improving and with the experience and professionalism of mark noble working alongside him in training and games. Lanzini, Anderson, fornals offer flair and threat, yarmolenko back too, haller a strong dangerous CF suited to PL. Bad pros like arnautovic, Carroll, nasri removed from the squad. They've kept their best players, signings have been good value for money and Pellegrino a good manager. Everton and Leicester have made impressive steps too and i think Brighton also have done well.

I think villa have been showing bad business with a naive plan. Newcastle losing rafa, rondon, Perez, Kennedy replacing with a limited manager and signings that have yet only showed potential with a big lack of strong characters in their squad. I think crystal palace too will be largely weaker losing AWB and maybe zaha.

I'm predicting villa and Newcastle for relegation and Chelsea to be weakest out of the big 6. My bold prediction for dark horse is for Burnley to have an impressive season and possibly top 10.

Geez mcgoveb, what makes you think anyone on this site has the ability, never mind the time 😁.

{Ed0333's Note - Don’t underestimate the writing prowess of our base Burky. I’m sure there’s someone out there with the time, inclination and knowledge to do a good piece of writing.

Wolves will be the dark horses for me. They might struggle with European football though

Everton have made a couple of decent signings, keeping hold of Gomez was also a good move for them. I watched him when Everton came to Anfield, he’s a good player.

{Ed025's Note - its still a 2 horse race for the title drogie but the race for the other european places could be interesting, i think spurs are the strongest of them but the others are much of a muchness mate..

For me, Wolves will be tough nuts to crack. In fact, we are the only team in the top 6 to do the double over them which is saying something about how good we were and how good they are. I was going to pick Leicester but since the lost Maguire, things may change for them. I don't know if it will be a two horse race BUT I will say that the points totals could be decreased for us and City if indeed it is a two horse race. Even KDB said the same thing.

Yeah it would be hard to imagine 2 teams hitting 97 and 98 points. Out of curiosity would any of ye take 90 points come may if offered it now?

Har_red92 if both teams play to last year's potential, 90 points does not even get your foot in the door to challenge for the title. Like I said, I just think that those totals last year will decrease this year. Not sure. Just a hunch.

I agree with you that it's unlikely to see us both hit that tally again. I personally think 90 points would be enough to win the league next season.
