So was browsing FB and they had a video up of Kuyts hatrick against United. It got me thinking, how would he have fit into Klopp a system? Personally, I think with his work ethic alone he would have been brilliant.

Best thing I’ve seen on Facebook recently and heard on in a pub in Manchester when I went to United away last season - was their song mocking Van Dijk and the £75m we paid for him, it goes on to say he’s just a s**t Phil Jones, how that has come back to haunt them 😂

I await with baited breath if they sign Maguire for more 😂.

An on form kyut would be a nice addition. Dunno if he has the trickery to play with our current forwards, but you're right about his work rate.

A Kuyt is just the kind of player we need as backup/ rotation for our front three. Yes, not the best player in the world but someone who'd put in a shift from the bench or probably start against the so called 'lesser' teams and could cover all 3 of the forward positions. Is there one of those available?

I really liked Kuyt, I know he wasn't the most incredible player but by god, he gave it his all every single time. If he was in his prime would I have him back at Liverpool? probably not, we have Origi but if we didn't have Origi, damn right I would.

Didn’t Kuyt play as a wing back for Holland at one of the world cups under lvg?

He has the engine to get up down the wings and could hit a decent cross as well.

Klopp would love a player like him and like he does with Milner I am sure he would of used him in various roles.

Every successful team needs a Dirk Kuyt. However, he would not start for LFC under Klopp, that much is clear. Would he get games? Absolutely cos he's brave, a leader and most importantly, doesn't take games off, never hides during big games and always the man who thrives on big occasions. Also, a great guy and a true gentleman.
