I'm not one to ever take notice of managers talking transfers with the media as they are never going to give much info.

Klopps latest quote though he mentioned maybe 1 position to strengthen. All along we mention FB and attack as the 2 focuses. If only 1 addition would surely be a forward, maybe signal intentions that Lewis can be trusted as understudy along with Millie of course for LB.

Maybe the targets wanted are not available this summer and it’s a waiting game until the right player is available rather than any player.

I think you have to freshen up, even if it's one player. Ex players always say they preferred it when someone was brought in as it gave everyone a buzz.
I remember Chelsea winning the league a few years ago, they stood still that summer and haven't recovered. Our fans keep mentioning Spurs yet they lost 20 last season.
Real want to sell, Klopp likes Asensio, I don't know how much he's available for but I think that would be a good move?

I don't rate asensio at all, vastly over hyped. What makes you think klopp likes him? I wouldn't see him as a klopp type personally.

Har_red, absolutely agree with you. Asensio is vastly over rated, much like Alvaro Morata before him, Madrid want stupid money for him and they’re welcome to keep him on their bench. Let some other sucker part with £70m.

IMO, Asensio has massively regressed and for me, is no longer the player he once was. Maybe CR& leaving had a knock-on effect on his progression. As for who we could bring in, we know we are interested in Max Cornet so that may be who Klopp is referring to as the one option. We shall see.

He can certainly score worldys and I feel his reputation exploded on some of those goals alone. Goes missing for large periods, zidane did seem to use him regularly in his last spell alright but he's not my cup of tea.
