Camacho has been sold to Sporting Lisbon for an initial £5 million, rising to £7 million with add-ons.

There's also a 20% sell on fee been negotiated and a back back clause (however there's no mention of that clause's value) .

Good luck to the lad.

Well said epic p. The lad has talent, has shown he is an attacking player and if that's what he is determined to do then fair play to him.
That said, i can see why klopp thought he'd make a good rb, in a similar mould to trent.

Love Edwards but selling a player who has not played for his value isn’t a master class.

How is selling a good young player a masterclass? He should have been given a run in the first team or a proper loan where he would get regular game time.

How can anyone say he is not good enough when he was been played out of position! He should have gotten the game time that Lallana got even though it was small Camacho would have been more reliable.
Obviously Edwards isn’t the manager but how could selling a player for 5 million be a masterclass? he just bought a 17 year old defender for 1.5 million.

You are speaking from a position of ignorance Mattie. I'm pretty sure Klopp will know if Camacho was good enough or indeed more reliable than Lallana.

Mattie if you have the same information Klopp and the coaching staff has on Camacho's performances and development over the years then you are free to prove us all wrong as to if Camacho was indeed good enuff for the LFC first team. If the answer is no then all you have is an opinion, which are not facts esp. if that opinion is being formulated from a position of ignorance.

Then why would Klopp promise him game time and the club offered him a new contract? He should have at least been given pre season to see if he could offer anything in the attacking positions.
