Thanks Ed, a good real as always.

What is Kompany playing at? He must know that Bellamy is a car crash waiting to happen? Maybe he's invested in a chain of golf club shops and needs some stock moving.

AFC Wimbledon v Milton Keynes Dons should be a good game, time hasn't healed those wounds.

{Ed001's Note - they are good friends and Bellamy just needs a bit of guidance. He is not a bad lad at heart, just an arse when he drinks and sadly he tends to drink too much.}

Cheers ed01.

I know the game has changed, the world has changed but i played as a kid, wasnt bad until pots and girls came along. But i had coaches that bullied us. I don't hate them for it, not at all. Before games the guy would rub embrication (spelling) into my legs, give me advice at half time. I played in manes position, he would tell me how to beat the rb if i was having trouble. He would tap me on the back when i scored. It prepared us for some really tough away games, rolling into a council estate at dusk with the opposition banging our mini bus. We had to keep some of the bigger reserves to guard the van! A few times it just developed into a mass brawl!

In short it toughened me up. There were times i was almost in tears. But, when i pleased him and scored a brace, the look on his face made my week.

Bellamy is about my age so i imagine he had similar coaches.

{Ed001's Note - exactly mate, he can be a dick but his heart is in the right place and I am sure he had no intention of making life miserable for the players he was coaching. I actually think this is just something that is going to be a problem for all ex-players, as they are trying to bring in techniques that worked 30 years ago when they started out. It is a mistake putting them at the start of their coaching career with kids anyway, the best coaches should be promoted to working with the youngest age groups because that is when their work has the most effect.}

Good point ed, look at the players that have flourished since gerrards spell as our youth team. I know he was a new manager but the guy is an exception imo.

While im here, you think there's any chance of us signing the real betis fb/ cb/ w?

Also, i have a massive feeling that pipco will join chelsea. They need to replace hazards spark. Do you reckon there is much chance. They have some money from edens sale.

{Ed001's Note - you do realise Chelsea have a transfer ban right?}

Thanks for that Ed. Have a great weekend. Wait a minute, you don't get a weekend, do you.

{Ed001's Note - unless you count popping to the shop for bread and milk as a weekend?}

Call me old school but I prefer them days too without doubt it makes you mentally stronger. Ever heard of the Birkenhead boys? Worst team to play against, tony Pauli’s stoke and steroids haha.

To be fair I think the world is a bit soft. At my kids sports days they gave everyone a winnners medal as they were all winners for taking part, my question is how will them children cope with losing or failure in adult life without learning to accept it as a child?

The worlds far too liberal and nicey nice for my liking, as for Bellamy he seems a good lad, plenty of heart and passion and I loved him with us.

Craig Bellamy for all his faults, has done a lot of good in his personal life. Yes he has had a few issues but don't take away from what he has done with his charities and helping people outside of the sport. If there were more footballers who would give a bit out like Craig does, then we would be in a better place. he's not a totally bad person just has that tendency to act like a child sometimes.
