ed025 you must be very happy with the Andre Gomes signing for £22m seems something of a snip in this day and age. With what players are getting priced at even better considering he had a season loan and looked good in the league.

ed025 that sounds like double standards to me you was only calling us for buying Southampton players yesterday lol. But I did think he would have gone for a lot more than that and am surprised Utd or spurs never made a move for him. Would have been an upgrade on both the teams midfielders.

In your opinion, what are the chances that Barcelona will get that €2m?

Nah, nothing special imo, he'll be a flop. Good luck to the lad of course, he's alright at best though imo, far too overhyped. There's a reason why he's gone to Everton lol nobody else is daft enough.

I'm not calling him terrible, far from it but I don't think he's as good as people are making out nowhere even near.

£22m is about right for Gomes isn’t it? He bombed badly at Barcelona and didn’t pull up any trees at Everton last season either. He seems technically ok but just doesn’t have any impact on any of the games I’ve seen him play in.
At that price if he was any good he’d be at a CL club surely?
I hope he does well for you Ed25 but I just don’t see it. Actually I take that back, I hope he’s rubbish and you spend the whole season in the relegation places ;-)

{Ed025's Note - ooooh ...pint of boddingtons for BP me thinks, injuries and not willing to suck up to messi meant he had to leave barca, he came to us with no pre-season under his belt as well so there are reasons we have probably not seen the best of him yet mate, but when we played at runner-up central (anfield) he was the best player on the pitch by a country mile..
