Many do not realise how much money LFC actually owe FSG.

They could have easily called on the banks to loan million upon million to the club.

Just goes to show that they want success for the club and have dished out mega amounts of money to get the club back on track.

The best thing they did since taking over was to appoint Jurgen Klopp.

{Ed025's Note - they have been great custodians max, i cant believe they still get some stick on here mate..

First 5 years - 5/ 10.
Last 4 years - 8/ 10.
I have to say the current set up is probably the best it’s been since the late 80s?

{Ed025's Note - rescuing the club from what was essentially administration means them scores are far too low juicer, did you expect them to come in with a billion for transfers in the first couple of years mate?, its been strong steady leadership within the bounds of FFP culminating in 3 of the biggest transfer deals in british history in the recent past...count your blessings i say..

They're no saints and will one day want to make a massive gain on their investment. But then that's no different from any sports team owner is it? They deserve nothing but praise for patiently learning through truly horrendous mistakes in the beginning, and doing enough other things, in time, to bring the club's standing back to what it used to be in the 70's and 80's. Hiring Jurgen Klopp has turned out to be a masterstroke and supporting him has worked out extremely well. Improving the infrastructure (Anfield and the new training facilities) shows you they're not all about a fast buck. I don't think LFC could have asked for better owners or a better manager. Things have just gelled very nicely.

Bit quiet on your page is it joey?

Maybe you can head over to Man City rumours to give Harry a playmate?

Great owners but the way they are funding it makes business sense. If they end up selling one day their loans would get settled out of the proceeds first before a gain is calculated (and taxed) . Any other shareholders involved wouldn't get any of this repayment as it comes off the top (pretty sure i heard some random american sports guy has shares) . Also if they ever want to take funds out they would just repay the loans instead of declaring a dividend and having to pay tax. Good tax planning is what it is.

The way I look at it is pretty simple. Imagine how many clubs would love to have these owners? that's as simple as it gets for me. They have sorted this club out and got us back to the very top once again and more success will come because they're committed to improving Liverpool as they have proved since they came in. Anybody who want's to talk trash about them simply haven't got a clue what they're talking about.

They are businessmen, not LFC fans. Their decisions will be based on profit margins. Thankfully, they recognise that success on the pitch ultimately equates to a few more coins in their back pockets so its a win-win situation.
