Fabinho - slow start. Had some poor games before Christmas and wasn't worth his place. He grew into the role though and is now our first choice holding midfielder. I expect him to kick on next season and play a key role. 6.5/ 10

Keita - there were flashes of ability at the beginning but he also found it difficult to adapt to the prem. His best games were just before his injury. He started to score and assist and I still hold high hopes. Our most talented midfielder but he needs to improve on and off the pitch. 5.5

Allison - made a huge difference to the side. Adapted quickly and gave others confidence. Hit a slight dip but brilliant when it counted at the business end of the season. Will be even better next year. 8.5

Shaq - decent overall, happy with his commitment and attitude. Got injured when we needed him so didn't play as often as he might of. Scored some important goals and won us some points. Would rather he stayed than Lallana. 6.

6.5 Fabinho? Considering he was a new signing, I’d give him an 8 minimum. First choice midfielder for me, none of the others offer what he does. At the end of the season, klopp picked him for every big game and we won them.

I think fabinho is deserved of more than only 1 mark more than keita. I didn't think he was poor before Xmas. We won every game in December and I thought that was the month he really settled in. Bossed United and lovely assist, got his first goal that month too and big wins over Everton United and arsenal along with champions league business being taken care of. He was left out of the city game in New year and we didn't have any control til he was subbed on. He's been excellent since, even keeping clean sheets in the CB role when needed. For me is at least an 8/ 10.

Lmao. Fabinho becomes the first midfielder on the team sheet, is part of a 97 point team and wins the champions league.

6.5 I'd say is fair going on the season overall, he had a slow start that's why. If he'd of played the majority of the season he'd of had an 8 or so but he didn't.

I keep seeing these comments putting Fab in the Ok to Good bracket, I just don't get the marking down of what was clearly a huge amount of development and confidence building that resulted in him being the best midfielder in our squad.

If he stays at the same level and God forbid he improves he is one of the first names on the sheet and crucial in the spine of the team. We couldn't afford to buy a better in his position and I struggle to think of anyone who could walk into his role in this league and be that much better. All the hype was over Naby but Fab came in quietly, worked hard, got his head around the tactics and league and its paid off big time.

There is NOTHING "ok or just good" about Fab. He is the exact player we all knew he was. Him having a slow start and using that to downplay his ability, is a misnomer and IMO, dishonest.

Near EVERY player that Klopp has signed always takes time to adapt to our style. See Ox, Robbo, Gini, Salah etc. Even Naby falls into that category and he started to show his immense talent until a dreadful tackle injured him. You cannot use that as a yardstick to judge him or any other player. I mean, Ilkay Gundogan took SIX months to adapt to Dortmund's way of playing under Klopp. Reportedly it was so bad that he had to go up in the stands to sit and study how Dortmund play.

Fab is a BOSS DM and we all knew it from his time at Monaco hence, it is only normal that he needs time to adapt to a new league, a new country and a change of pace in terms of tempo and physical impact, league-wise. Fab is brilliant and ALWAYS has been. He only needed time to adapt.

wow not sure about them marks
Allison 9.5 first season not seen to many goalkeepers come to a new country and play so well golden gloves.

Fabinho 8 took his time getting into the team, to get use to how we played but once that was sorted first choice midfielder.

Shaq 6 good start to the season then sort of died off a bit. But for the money we paid in this day and age did ok for us.

Keita 5 for the money and hype no where near what we was expecting. He did pick up to wards the end of the season but a bit late for a bigger mark. But my be next season we will see the best of him.

The same fab that had messi in his pocket in a game that was instrumental to us winning no.6 not to mention him stepping in at centre back when we were decimated by injury with outstanding performances and his stellar improvement that virtually made him undroppable. No it's a solid 8.5 from me.

Keita gets a 0.5 uplift for his solo dance clutching his medal in the dressing room after the champs league final. classic😂.

It is a mark for the FULL season. If Fabs gets an 8 now that means if he plays a full season next year at the second half level he will have to get a 10.

This season first half 4.5
second half 8
so 6.5 overall.
