Hi Ed’s

Just out of interest, when clubs have identified a position and have a list of players for it do they negotiate for more than one player at the same time? Or do they just go after the one at the top of the list first and move on to the next if it collapses?
I know it may depend on the club, but I’m just wondering if sometimes they agree for 2 players as an example and then choose one and inform the other we no longer want you.
