Klopp on a lifetime contract with a 300 million buy out clause to stop others poaching him should do the trick!

300 million is much too low.

I was thinking exact same thing, battleplan already being analysed for next season, back up left back and right back, creative midfielder, possible back up flexible winger - forward, possible back up keeper .

Why do people keep saying we need a back up forward. Origi is as good as you'll get as a "back up" forward.

Someone to challenge the front three, I'd maybe agree on, depending on who it is, but as a back up/ someone to come off the bench (and be happy with that role), you won't get any better than Divock. If he played 30 games, he'd notch up 20 goals at least.

{Ed025's Note - i very much doubt that epic, he is a bench guy and not up to the task of playing regular football, hes very much like david fairclough in that respect and a decent option if you want to change things i suppose, you have tried him as a starter and lets be honest he was awful, i would say keep him as a supersub but he should not even be an option as a starter imo mate..

Some of us are saying we need a backup forward, to replace Sturridge, not to replace Orrigi. Keep both Orrigi and Brewster where they are but replace Sturridge. Having Brewster on the horizon is all nice and dandy but I'm not about to stake an entire season on whether Brewster can or cannot make it. I remember too clearly when Woodburn was the next great hope, and that has gotten massively "delayed" (being polite and politically correct) . We're at the top level of both EPL and Europe. To stay there, every little decision has to be thought about 10 times, now.

Son from Spurs would be a good guy to get.

I know Ed he started at home to Barcelona and had absolutely no impact on the game whatsoever 😉.

{Ed025's Note - one swallow doth not a summer make becker, as they say..

Yet he keeps ruining your football-supporting life, Ed25. One of the things that stifled Origi's development very early in his LFC career (he was so good, he was bullying CB's the likes of Hummels and your then golden boy John Stones), is that dreadful tackle of that former thug from your lot Funes Mori that damaged his ankle ligaments BUT of course, that's none of my business.

You can call Origi whatever you would like (LFC Legend would be appropriate, IMO) BUT the fact remains that he is still young and can improve. You say he is not a starter YET he has started games for us (vs Watford and Barca) where he scored and we won so that argument just got debunked with empirical evidence. He can improve BUT needs to learn quickly and be more consistent in his decision-making

Also, Big Div is a deadly finisher in the box as his recent goals have shown, one who does not panic in critical moments. Your and your lot would know a lot about this quality cos he has been ruining Everton's season for a while now bu obviously again, that's none of my business.

{Ed025's Note - im not saying he cant have an impact in games redwolf, he has scored a few important goals for you and is head and shoulders above the other 2 time wasters in sturridge and lallana, but lets be sensible here, would you really want him starting in an important game mate?....and take another sip of that truth serum before you answer..

Origi has scored some vital goals this season and proved me wrong as I wanted him gone last summer. But let's be fair he wasn't great last night couldn't pass the ball to save his life and say Bobby got a long term injury you wouldn't want origi playing week in week out. Unfortunately he's just not good enough standard.
But I'm very pleased for all he's done this season.

{Ed025's Note - i totally agree with all that ibiza..

I must give huge respect to origi for the impact he's given in big moments. But let's be more realistic and open eyed in analysing him. He anticipated and tapped in dramatic winner against Everton, against Barcelona his overall performance was quite poor (yes I know he got 2 goals and that's what mattered) . But again they were finishes he would hardly miss. His goal yesterday was a great strike in fairness but again he overall actually played pretty bad, off the ball he was always in the wrong spaces etc. THIS IS NOT A DIG AT ORIGI. I really hope he stays as he's proved he can pick a big moment.

But I've read people today saying he's worth more than 50 million, if he played 30 games he'd guarantee 20 goals etc. Come on let's not overhype him so dramatically. His impact has been special at times but that won't likely be a common occurrence. Can anyone really pick out games where his overall performance matches this clouded hype. Now I'm stating again he's a great back up option but his value is far from 50 million and he's not scoring 20 goals a season. Let's calm down a bit.

I'm happy origi is in our squad and the lad has obviously worked hard and progressed his skills who knows how far he could go he is only young.

Ibiza Red could not agree more why are people saying his young his 24 can't think of to many players that improve that much from that age. He has done great for us this season the Barcelona game and the final makes him a legend of the club for ever. But there can be no sentiment in football Pep won't have none for players only have to look at the keeper he signed in his first season. We should sell him this summer we would get more money for him now than we ever will city don't have players that can only play 15 20 minutes of games they have players that can play 15 20 games and there is no great down grade.

Personally I think origi continues to earn a spot in the squad.

They say you're only as good as your last few games and on that basis origi is good enough to start.

I'm uninterested in how players have been in the past years, it's their recent history, current attitude and goals for the future that should be considered. I don't think anyone can argue origi fits the bill there. Will he bag 20 goals a season? No probs not but then neither does Firmino (which is who I would origi is understudy to) he can't replace salah or mane as he's not the right type of player but I think with time he's a decent replacement for Firmino when needed.

Big div is not really a great name for him but a lot of modern footballers come across like big divs.
