I can't be the only one hoping Ox gets the winner surely!

The Ox is a fox in the box.

I'd love Hendo, Trent or VVD to get the winner. Actually, I want us to win 3-0, no "winner" needed.

Assuming everyone is fit will the Ox even make the bench? Gini, Lovren, Gomez, Mignolet, Origi, Shaq, Studge?

Obviously a lot can happen before the final and off course someone could easily get injured but who would you leave out? Sturridge seems the obvious one but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be happy given Ox has played about 20 minutes all season. Hopefully it will be a good problem for Klopp to have.

I'd have Ox over studge, another 3 weeks of uninterrupted training will help him big time and he should be more than capable of 20-30 mins of impact if needed. Keita injury means ox may need to be used.

What's Lallanas story? Season over?

The ox put more effort in that 20 minutes than Sturridge had all season. It's not about whether Sturridge will be happy it's about who klopp sees as the best option at that time.
Me personally I'd go for ox over Sturridge all day.

I know Sturridge is nice guy etc etc but was anyone else screaming at the tele on Tuesday for him to actually start running and press rather than walk around taking in the scenery? The other players were on their knees from trying so hard yet he came on as sub and didn't seem to try. I would sooner Brewster came on as he would have least made a nuisance of himself. Very frustrating from someone with so much talent but who has struggled through injuries.

I'm predicting an injury time from Kane.
Sorry, bloody predictive text! From Mane.
But I don't want any more late dramas after the past few weeks.
A comfortable win and being able to enjoy the latter stages of the game will be much better for my blood pressure.

As much as I love the Ox, it would be incredibly unfair on Gini, Hendo, Fabinho or Milner to miss out in midfield. Hoping Firmino ready to start and Origi off the bench.

Also if I had to pick a goalscorer who deserves to score a potential winner, I don’t think anyone could deserve it more than Mane this season. He’s been incredible all year and torn defenses apart, while keeping the goal scoring ticking over when Salah lost form (just as he did last season when we went off the boil after Xmas) . The lads been immense. After him I’d say Hendo. what a fairytale that would be. After him would be VVD. So many players would also deserve though in all honesty. a sign on how incredible this team has all played this year.

I'd have Ox on the bench myself ahead of both Origi and Sturridge. Would be a massive lift coming on 4 d team if we're in trouble whereas with the other two your just weakening the team.

SGRed regarding OX, I don't think many would suggest him starting the game, just that he should make the bench if fit.

I'd love it if there were no late drama. But if there were, Milner for me.

I agree, Stone. I'd like it to be one of the English lads, either Henderson or Milner.
Henderson for obvious reasons and Milner because who could forget the semi final tears.
Trent, I'm hoping will get more opportunities and the same for Ox.
For their huge contributions this season it'd have to be Van Dijk or Mane.
So I'll go for all four!

Studge’s skill provided TAA with the ball for the assist of the 2nd goal against Barca.
He’s getting some bad press these days because after 5 years of injuries he’s not the same player.
Harsh I reckon.

Ron do you think any Premier League sides will show interest in Sturridge? i dont, its nothing personal but a player who simply refuses to or just can't sprint is not good enough for this club anymore. No team in the league is going to put up with that.

Naby,

Give him 10 consecutive games, if he still can’t be bothered to run then it’s fair game. At the moment he gets the odd start and the odd 10 minutes.

Ron, you're confusing Barcelona and Newcastle (easily done) .
All four goals against Barcelona were scored before Sturridge came on.

Let's just win eh. A bizarre Klopp touchline assist perhaps! 😎⚽️✌.

Please no last minute winners my heart is already on its last legs after the season we have had. I would much prefer 2-0 but would take anything as long as we secure the trophy.

Just with regards to the final, I'd love to see robbo or trents faces should one of them score in Madrid. I was hoping for ajax as we've done spurs twice this season and I think they will be ready to go all out. However I think after last year's final, we will be twice as determined.

Studge, I think its a shame and I think that's why people are annoyed with him. He has so much to offer but it's like he doesn't push himself like the others on the pitch. I get he just doesn't have the body to avoid injuries but when he is fit you'd think he'd want to push even more. I will remember his goals fondly but nothing else. good luck Studge and good bye.
